A valuable addition in my life....

christiannebaggenSCT has been a valuable addition in my life and in my work as a psychologist and therapist. Since knowing SCT, I often ask myself and my clients about curiosity. Usually a light goes on immediately. Other simple yet profound questions and methods, also prove to be refreshing and empowering: that there is often a fork in the road and that you can choose, for example. Or that depressive feelings often cover up anger. Such depression snaps up considerably. Or that what you call restlessness and anxiety can mean that you are on the edge of the unknown. Which immediately makes it less problematic.

In my conversations with couples and small management teams, I use the functional subgrouping a lot. Tuning into the other person first and really connecting makes a big difference to what you want to say next (again) yourself. I personally experience SCT as deeply acknowledging our humanity; I feel more settled and solid since practicing SCT.
